white fused alumina for ceramic roller

As a kind of refractory kiln furniture, ceramic rollers play the role of supporting and conveying ceramic blanks and products in roller firing kilns and roller drying kilns. They are the core components of roller kilns. They have made important contributions to the energy saving, shortening of firing cycles and automatic operation of roller kilns. They are widely used in the fields of building sanitary ceramics, daily ceramics, electronic ceramics, magnetic materials, glass heat treatment, wear-resistant devices, etc.

White corundum ceramic rollers have high hardness, good wear resistance and oxidation resistance, and can basically meet the requirements of modern building sanitary ceramics and daily ceramics firing; its use temperature can reach 1400℃ or even higher, and its price is low. It is currently the largest roller in production.

White corundum crystals are white, made of high-quality alumina as raw material, and smelted in a high-temperature electric arc furnace. Characteristics of white corundum:

Al2O3 has high purity (99%min). Therefore, it has high hardness and grinding ability, and good grinding efficiency.
-High wear resistance. Even in high temperature environment, the strength is still excellent.
-White fused alumina powder is suspended in water. Therefore, it has fluidity and easy dispersibility.
–Low oil absorption, especially suitable for water-based paints.
–Neutral property with pH value around 7-8.
–High whiteness. Adding Al2O3 powder does not affect the color of paint or coating.
–Resistant to most corrosive alkalis and acids. It is insoluble in water.
–Can withstand high temperatures up to 1900 °C.
–Good particle size consistency, no large-sized particles. Therefore, it can prevent scratches on the grinding substrate.
